Prepared for server densities

Racks sustained by floor loadEquipment floor loading is an important issue as server densities continue to increase and SAN’s grow in size and weight.

Scott Data Center’s facility utilizes a Tate Concore Access floor system with a loading capacity of 2500 pounds per tile or 1250 pounds per square foot, allowing the most demanding loads to be placed upon it.  The facilities raised floor height is set to 16” and is used only for cold air delivery to the server rack.  Several styles of air delivery panels are available to customize airflow to the individual rack.
