Support for multiple carriers

Scott Data Center is designed to support multiple carriers via diverse paths giving carriers the ability to deliver highly available connectivity.  All conduits within the property are buried underground and encased in concrete to help ensure that communication lines are not interrupted.   Carriers are segmented within their own lockable racks to help ensure that their own equipment is not accessed by anyone but their authorized technicians.  The current carriers who have physically built out fiber to the facility include:

Cox is a facility based provider and will own and manage all local access to the data center. Cox Business’ local and national network continues to grow and is constantly architected to the highest standards of availability and scalability, which enables our customers to be competitive in their respective markets. We remain keenly aware that down-time is not an option; therefore, we have engineered a solution to be diverse and redundant. The Cox Business network will provides dual-entrance with Ring-in-Ring architecture, which will provide redundant fiber paths between Scott Technology Data Center and multiple Cox-owned distribution hubs.

Pinpoint Network Solutions

Pinpoint Network Solutions’ offerings range from a facilities based intra-city Omaha metro ring to affiliate access in every major market across the United States. Services include optical transport, internet access, and Data Center services. Customized transport solutions are engineered for specific mission critical applications. Clients include telecos, large business, government and education.

Qwest Communications has fiber and copper access to the data center via a single path.
