Advancing technology-based businesses
Located in Omaha, NE at the Scott Technology Center, Scott Data Center is one of the largest multi-tenant data center facilities within the Omaha area.
In 2001 local civic leaders and philanthropists had a vision for Omaha to develop a technology and engineering entrepreneurial business community. By tapping the expertise and talent pool available at the Peter Kiewit Institute, the Suzanne and Walter Scott Foundation developed the Scott Technology Center to meet this need and achieve the vision of helping to technologically grow Omaha.
The Scott Technology Center represents an environment optimized for the development and growth of technology driven businesses. With a heavily fortified and redundant data center designed to store business critical data, the Center has the programs and facilities to meet the ever-changing needs of the information technology and engineering community.
Since the inception of the Center, the campus had developed into a technology and engineering cluster comprised of over 220,000 square feet of facilities, designed to support the unique needs of technology-based companies. By July 2011, Scott Data Center will grow to include 48,000 sf of raised floor space, with additional 32,00 sf of custom built space available.
